Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the WrapUp service operated by Singular AS ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

WrapUp is a receipt management service that allows users to upload, digitize, organize, and export business receipts and financial documents using AI-powered optical character recognition (OCR) technology.

2. Account Registration and Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use WrapUp
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account

3. Acceptable Use and File Upload Policy

Permitted Files

  • Business receipts, invoices, and related financial documents
  • Expense reports and business-related documentation
  • File types: JPG, PNG, PDF, HEIC (max 10MB per file)
  • Only upload documents you own or have legal permission to process

Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload:

  • Personal documents unrelated to business expenses (personal bank statements, private correspondence)
  • Copyrighted material you don't own
  • Documents containing sensitive personal information of others without consent
  • Illegal, harmful, threatening, or offensive content
  • Malware, viruses, or corrupted files
  • Documents in violation of any law or regulation

4. AI/OCR Processing and Accuracy Disclaimers

Important: WrapUp uses artificial intelligence and optical character recognition to automatically extract data from your documents. Please note:

  • AI processing is not 100% accurate and may contain errors
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted information
  • WrapUp is not liable for any financial losses due to OCR errors
  • Always double-check amounts, dates, and vendor information before using for tax or business purposes
  • Consider WrapUp's output as a helpful starting point, not a final accounting record

5. Usage Limits and Service Tiers

Free Account Limits

  • 5 receipts per month
  • 1 project
  • OCR processing and editing
  • PDF export with watermark (no storage after export)

Pay-per-Oppgjør

  • 1 oppgjør: 20 kr (inkluderer opptil 20 bilag)
  • +9 kr per påbegynte 21. bilag (øker grensen med +20 bilag)
  • Eksport uten watermark
  • Lagring/arkiv beholdes etter eksport

Pro Account Benefits

  • Unlimited receipts and projects
  • PDF and Excel export functionality
  • Email sending capabilities
  • Advanced features (time tracking, expense reports)
  • Priority customer support

6. Export and Email Responsibilities

When using WrapUp's export or email features:

  • You are responsible for verifying recipient email addresses
  • Ensure you have permission to send financial documents to recipients
  • WrapUp is not responsible for misdirected emails or data breaches at recipient organizations
  • Review all exported data for accuracy before submitting to accountants, tax authorities, or employers

7. Payment and Billing

  • Pro subscription: Billed monthly or annually
  • Payment processed securely through our payment provider
  • No refunds for partial months unless required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • Failed payments may result in account downgrade or suspension

8. Data Retention and Account Deletion

When you delete your account:

  • Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Downloaded exports remain your responsibility
  • We may retain anonymized usage data for analytics
  • Legal obligations may require us to retain certain records longer

9. Limitation of Liability

WrapUp provides the service "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

  • OCR errors or inaccuracies in extracted data
  • Financial losses from using extracted information
  • Tax penalties due to incorrect expense reporting
  • Data loss due to user error or technical issues
  • Business disruption or lost profits
  • Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of your uploaded documents and data
  • WrapUp retains ownership of our software, algorithms, and service
  • You grant us license to process your documents to provide the service
  • We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Upload prohibited content
  • Fail to pay subscription fees
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit our service
  • Use the service for illegal purposes

12. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Planned maintenance will be announced when possible
  • We may modify or discontinue features with notice
  • Emergency maintenance may occur without advance notice

13. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced via email or service notification. Continued use of WrapUp after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved in Oslo, Norway courts.
